The TEFL Certificate Program is sad to announce the departure of our Program Coordinator, Allyson Kelly, who has brought so much to the department over the past two years. She will be greatly missed!

Allyson's replacement is Catherine Rogerson, a June '03 graduate of the TEFL program. We are pleased to welcome Catherine to our staff, and look forward to her contributions.

Here are notes from both Allyson and Catherine:

Dear TEFL Grads,

As the TEFL Program Coordinator for the past two years, I have enjoyed getting to know and working with all of you. I am sad to say that my time as program coordinator is coming to an end and I must bid my extended BLI family, including all of you, a warm farewell. Thanks to everyone here at the Institute, especially our lively and supportive TEFL staff, my experience has been extremely rewarding. Although it is hard to say goodbye, my path is leading me back to the mountains where I am excited to begin yet another chapter of my life.

I want to personally thank each and every one of you for making it enjoyable to come to work every day (even during week three!). I have loved receiving your updates and photographs from around the globe, and have enjoyed working with some of you right here at the Institute. I wish you all the best in your future adventures and look forward to the time when our paths cross again.

Dear TEFLers,

I am very excited to be joining the TEFL team as the new Program Coordinator. As a fellow TEFL graduate, I know how great the program is and am really looking forward to the challenges of the position and to working with the TEFL department's excellent (and fun!) staff. Allyson will be missed by all. We wish her well in her new endeavors.
